PHASE 1 EDUCATIONAL ASSEMBLY
We begin with an educational assembly led by Ride4water. Our team teaches each student why people need clean drinking water and we do some cool interactive pieces with them involving water filters.
PHASE 2 RIDE4WATER
We then mobilize the school with its faculty, teachers, students, and families for an activity where they Ride4water. These events are the catalyst to raise money to Fund the water project.
For example-On Saturday, January 31st, 2015 60 people including students, families, and faculty of Warren Walker school gathered for our 1st ever Walk4water. Each of the students and their families were challenged to adopt a family on El Salvador and walk together so that family can have clean water. The School of Warren Walker made up of its staff, families, and children raised money for 60 families to receive clean water in El Salvador.
PHASE 3 THE TRIP
Ride4water then mobilizes a Team of people to travel to the community where the water project is located to implement the project with locals who live there. We do this to support our local team and to educate the team traveling there about the process, culture, and scope of the project. We use this experience to Raise Minds as well as Raise Money.
For example, On March 6-15 2015 Ride4water took a team of 34 people to El Salvador to help bring 50 families clean water. We wrote a daily blog with pictures and made a 3 minute video about our trip. This involves people in the process and tells the story of our team and the people we are working with.
PHASE 4 REPORT BACK ASSEMBLY
We then have a report back assembly where we show our recap video and share stories with the school about the impact we made together.
For example-On Friday March 27th, 2015 Ride4water and its team will host another assembly at Warren Walker School and give a report back to the students, families, and faculty of Warren Walker about all the clean water we were able to bring to people together.
